Balayage is French for 'to sweep.' The colorist paints chosen pieces by hand. Those pieces add lightness while other areas keep their depth. Your starting shade, old color, and home care affect how the result grows out.
Sections of hair isolated and lightened for controlled brightness, contrast, or dimension.
Highlights lighten chosen sections, often with foils. They can be fine and soft or bold and bright. Where they start, how light they go, and how fast your hair grows help set the time between visits.
Foil placement designed for a specific goal — face framing, brightness around the part, or dimension through selected areas.
Rachel chooses the foil pattern for the look you want. A few pieces by the face do a different job from lightness through the back. Your cut, part, and current color help her choose where each foil goes.

First, lightener lifts the color. Then toner adjusts the shade. Old dye, hair strength, and the amount of change affect the pace. A very light blonde or pastel may take more than one visit.

A root retouch puts color on the new growth. It does not mean coloring every length and end again. Rachel's menu sets aside 90 minutes. Ask when to come back based on your growth and coverage goal.

Grey blending uses light and dark pieces, or a change in tone, to soften the line between grey and colored hair. Some grey stays visible. Rachel chooses the plan based on your grey pattern, current shade, and upkeep.
